Manufacturing
THE FIRST PART
The first part of the process in making leather sneakers is preparing the insole for sewing. This is done by creating a vertical "rib" that runs across the insole.
THE SECOND STEP
In the second step, the outsole is stretched over the last and fastened together with the insole up to the last.
PART THREE
Part three is the actual worlding. At this point, a shoe-specific thread is sewn through the welt, upper and insole ribs. The hem is attached to the outsole with a separate stitch. A backstitch is used for these two basting points. This means that the chain cannot be untangled if it falls out at a certain point in the shoe. This is how your perfectly crafted sneaker is created.
